"As healthcare delivery continues to evolve, we feel strongly that our physician-led model, combined with aggressive investments in clinical and service innovation, position RP physicians to meet the changing needs of health systems,” Rich Whitney, RP chairman and CEO, said in a statement. “The addition of these new client sites is a reflection of the incredible efforts of our physicians and support teams.”
The acquisitions, deemed “partnerships” by RP, include Mori, Bean & Brooks, an agreement which brought its total number of radiologists to more than 1,000, as well as Tenet Healthcare, Kaiser Permanente, and Dignity Health. They also follow earlier acquisitions this year of Radiology Associates of Florida and Access Radiology, both of which marked its respective entrances into the Florida and Louisiana markets.
Additional insights include expanded relations with its existing partner systems, Mercy Health, Banner Health and HCA, and the recent completion of a practice partnership with Gulf Imaging Associates, broadening its relationship with HCA Gulf Coast in Texas.
“We are proud to offer outstanding radiology services to these new clients, their patients, and their referring physicians,” said Whitney.
